197 Have always enjoyed reading Terry Blackstock books. The first three in the Sun Coast Chronicles were again super and most intriguing to read. However, the fourth book seemed to drag on at times. Maybe it was because my familiarity with most of the characters, having been developed in the earlier stories. Could be just me, but the last book was not the page turner that the others were. One amusing thing I noted in all four books is that almost every time a vehicle was started the person “cranked the engine”. Just an interesting expression as I can’t recall any character “starting the car”. Of course being written in the mid to late 1990s, having to run to your car to use your mobile phone reminded me of when I had one of those bag phones, which was only mobile when I was in my car. How technology has changed.
